Q. What is a cooperative? A. A cooperative (or co-op) is a group of people who join together to carry out an economic activity of mutual benefit. Cooperatives provide he opportunity for people to share skills and resources to gain opportunities that they could not achieve on their own, and empower their members to take ownership of their economic activities.

Q. Will the same cleaner come to my house each time? A. Yes, you will be matched with a cleaner who will learn your preferences and accommodate your special requests. If your cleaner is sick or on vacation we can send a substitute, but we will notify you first.

Q. Will I be able to communicate with my cleaner? A. All of our cleaners are taking English classes in order to serve you better. Should communication ever become an issue, however, just call our office. A bilingual Coordinator will always be eager to assist you.

Q. What should I do if I need to reschedule? A. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, call our office at least 24 hours in advance. We will notify your cleaner.

Q. Can I recommend my cleaner to a friend? A. All of our cleaners give high quality service. Please recommend our housekeeping service to your friends and have them call our office.

Q. What kinds of cleaning supplies do I need? A. Please see the list of recommended cleaning supplies here.

Q. What if I am dissatisfied with my cleaner? A. Please call our office immediately for assistance. We will resolve the situation and, if necessary, assign a new cleaner.

Q. Do I need to be at home when my cleaner comes? A. Most of our clients choose to be at home the first time the cleaner comes, in order to let them in and explain cleaning preferences. Thereafter, it is not necessary that you be at home during cleaning, as long as you have left a key or made other arrangements for entry.

Q. Is it O.K. if I am at home during cleaning? A. Yes, you can certainly be at home during cleaning. We do ask that you put pets outside or in their kennels and that children are not underfoot during cleaning.

Q. Do you wash windows, do laundry, change bed linens? A. These tasks are not considered part of a typical house cleaning. However, these and several other services are available at an additional charge.

Q. Is there a trial period to see if I am satisfied? A. You are welcome to cancel your service at any time if you are not satisfied. Please call our office to resolve issues or cancel service.

Q. Do the cleaners have references? A. Please see the testimonials section of our website. References are available upon request.

Q. How often will my cleaner come? Can I request occasional/one time service? A. It’s up to you! You can request weekly, every other week, monthly, or occasional service.

Q. Do you have a policy about indoor pets? A. We ask that you put pets outside or in their kennels during cleaning.
